A few weeks back we brought you information on a LI family who lost everything in a fire in the home they were renting.  Unfortunately the family is still in the hotel as finding a new home has been challenging, but their spirits have been kept up by the generosity and compassion of the Long Island Networking world. The support has been OVERWHELMING! They of course are extremely grateful; yet more needs to be done.

People still ask what can they use, below are some ideas:

Clothing (sizes below), food, toiletries, linens (towels, bedding, sheets, comforters, blankets, pillowcases, pillows, curtains), beds, dressers, end tables, lamps, picture frames, knick knacks, chairs, tables, couches, shelving, bookshelves, kids bedroom items, kids toys and games for inside and out, kitchen items such as cookware, pots/pans, glasses, silverware, frying pans, bake ware, general utensils, Tupperware, etc.

 

Grandmother, 60 yrs old, size 16/18  shoe size 9 ½ (who was just diagnosed with Breast Cancer last month and has just begun treatments for it)
