OK, Future Governor ...

We know who's butt to kiss. FutureGovernor Meredith Dulberg is working her way up the political ranks. She sent us a Car Safety Seat event, and while we're all for car safety, we were hoping for something juicier. She said if we do a good job, she'll send info on an upcoming blood drive. Car Safety, Blood Drive, it doesn't matter when the Future Governor talks, we listen, so here's the deal car safety seat fans ...

Assemblyman Thomas McKevitt (R,C,I - East Meadow) will be sponsoring a car seat safety event on Friday, May 22nd, from 9:30am to 1:30pm at Village Parking Field 6E in Garden City.The event will be taking place in the rear of the lot, on the far side of the railroad tracks. Certified instructors will be on hand to assist parents with all they need to know about their car seats, including proper installation and care. Appointments are necessary, so residents who are interested in this free service should callAssemblyman McKevitt's office at 516-739-5119 to reserve a time slot. Parents must bring their car seat to the event.
