KICKSTART YOUR WORK WEEK AT ‘MONDAY NIGHT NETWORKING’ JANUARY 26 AT COOL WATER GRILL (To Benefit Long Island Based Charity, Care To Knit) It’s not hard to imagine what could happen when a large group of business people gather together for a great cause. David Gussin, publisher of 516Ads.com and 631Ads.com, is well aware of the outcome. That’s why he created “Monday Night Networking,” a networking theme of “kicking off your work week…kicking off your networking week and igniting your business.” The first “Monday Night Networking” event will be held on January 26, 6 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. at Cool Water Grill, 25 Bayview Avenue in Bayshore. The venue and the food are free of charge, courtesy of Cool Water Grill, as well as 516Ads.com and 631Ads.com event sponsors. All are invited! Networking events are not just about handing out and receiving business cards—it’s about getting to know people and having the opportunity to build long-lasting relationships. You may wonder what makes “Monday Night Networking” different—it’s the attitude! “It’s about kicking off your work week, kicking off your networking week, igniting your business, and doing good things in the community. It’s a win-win-win situation,” said Mr. Gussin. “If there’s anything this tough economy needs, it’s to ignite business—and we’re going to do whatever it takes to get it done!” The event on January 26 is dedicated to helping Care To Knit, Inc., a non-profit organization consisting of volunteers whose mission is to provide hand-knit and crocheted items to those less fortunate who are in shelters, hospitals, nursing homes and hospices. Care To Knit began as a grass roots attempt to attract knitters interested in donating hand-made items to men, women and children in need. Through the efforts of many devoted volunteers, they have reached out to many people. Through the efforts of Don Leibowitz, (777Insure.com) a key sponsor of the January 26 event, Care To Knit, Inc. was chosen as the charity of choice. To assist Care To Knit, Inc., attendees of the January 26 “Monday Night Networking” meeting are asked to bring yarn, which will be collected and given to the non-profit. Additional sponsors of the networking event are Keely Harris (SpecialEvents.li); Harold Green (UncleHalsLimos.com) and Steve Cochrane of Send Out Cards (soclink.com/34212). If you can’t bring yarn, come anyway—it should be a great night of networking. Join us at upcoming networking events: February 9 at the Rail Road Inn, Valley Stream. You can help put a smile on children’s faces by bringing toys to benefit Schneider Children’s Hospital. Then on February 23, at the “Kick Business Butt/Free Networking Night,” school supplies will be collected for the Hempstead Boys and Girls Club. The event will be held at Jugs & Strokers in Merrick.
