Hello everyone. It's our final column of 2008. It's been a historic year. A historic election. A historic economy. Carving out our little piece of history, it's been a busy first year for our advertising/community network. In case you're new to 516Ads.com & 631Ads.com, here's what is happening. Our goal is to build an incredible combination of community and commerce. On the advertising end, we pride our self on providing quality information and the BEST tools to better advertise, network and promote your services. In our first year, we hope to have introduced a new attitude to advertising. The days of 'just' placing an ad are over. We take a more offensive approach. Ads, articles, networking, FREE Classifieds, high search rankings, new ideas, .LI and a get out there and kick some business butt attitude. On the community end, as weird as it may sound, it's about GOODNESS SPEAKING UP!!! The way we see it is this ... Hate makes headlines, goodness is picking up the kids from practice. Hate makes headlines, goodness is cooking dinner at the Ronald McDonald House. If it bleeds it leads, is a media motto. Hate makes headlines, goodness goes invisible. We've heard people complain about the negative media for years. Instead of complaining about, our advertising/ community network will be an example of doing something about it. In the first draft of this column, we were giving thanks to the many businesses and people who have supported us this past year. We found our self constantly adding another name and we didn't want to leave anyone out. So, on behalf of 516Ads.com & 631Ads.com, we would like to thank all our advertisers, sponsors and contributors who make this possible. Without them, there is no advertising/ community network.
