Sunday, September 7, 2008 6th Annual Freedom Flight 9/11 ‘08 A Day To Remember Those We Will Never Forget Time: 12-4 PM (Special Memorial at 2:45) Location: City of Long Beach (near Riverside on the beach) As we remember the events of 9/11, please join us in this special annual event to honor those lost and those left behind. We will pay tribute to our Armed Forces, Fireman, Police, EMS, Construction Workers & Clean-up crews, many of the unsung heroes and ordinary individuals who came together and did the extraordinary. The flying of colorful kites respectfully recognizes all those who survived, and those whose spirits have soared. We hope this event will foster unity, hope and healing. 2008 will be our 6th year; the Tribute has grown in size and scope. Sponsors and volunteers are welcome. We need your support!
